CONTEMPORARY PAINTING With Catherine Headley | Starts Tuesday 13 September 2016

Catherine encourages students to transform or interpret rather than merely record and imitate. The intention is to stimulate insight and inventiveness; to combine imagination with observation and memory and assist the student in finding his/her personal voice. Students will acquire knowledge of painters in the contemporary art scene and of the recent past.

Styles may be abstract, semi-abstract or figurative, whichever suits the student.
