‘In Good Company’ is set to be the first solo show dedicated to Fowler’s latest series of portraits. The Leicester-based artist is recognised for his strong use of colour and distinctive contemporary interpretations of famous faces and architectural landmarks, previously described as an “urban expressionist”.
Fowler graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2007 with a degree in Contemporary Fine Art and having caught the attention of many national and international collectors with his early cityscapes, featuring iconic buildings such as Battersea Power Station and the Old Vic, Fowler is now gaining more traction with his striking series of portraits.
Tim Fowler, 'Marlene Dietrich', mixed media, 102 x 78 cm
