Launde Abbey in Rutland runs as a Christian Retreat and Conference Centre. It was founded as an Augustinian priory in 1119 and in 2019, together with 2 other artists, Sarah Kirby held an exhibition of work made over the previous 12 months to coincide with their 900 years celebrations. The working kitchen garden, with its 18th Century glasshouse is one of her favourite places to sit and draw.
