Painting workshop led by artist Jacqui Gallon.  She will share her passion for using natural and other found materials as part of a mixed media approach to responding to place . Jacqui's own work responds to a love of earthy materials, an appreciation of process, and at the same time alludes to the passage of time and the beauty of decay.

During this session you will be exploring paint recipes which utilise natural earth pigments and  learning how to create texture by incorporating organic materials. The idea is to respond to the site of St Mary's using materials found there

The setting of St Mary's church provides a delightful backdrop and source of inspiration for this very exploratory day. You will be encouraged to respond to the site by walking the woodland trail and absorbing the textures and colours.
