These options can be tailored to suit your individual needs:

2 Hour Oil Painting Demonstration with Q & A: Jane will paint and explain her process whilst taking questions from you. She can focus on either Portrait or Still Life – 2 hours – £80

3 Hour Oil Painting Tuition Session: You will paint alongside Jane and receive guidance and feedback on your painting as you work. You will be provided with details of any materials and references required prior to the session. The focus can either be Portrait or Still Life – (includes written critique of your completed piece) – 3 hours – £150

Oil Painting Tuition Course: This can take place over a period of weeks and will be designed to fit your personal requirements. You will paint alongside Jane and receive guidance and feedback on your painting as you work. You will be provided with details of materials and references required prior to each session. The focus can either be Portrait or Still Life – (includes written critique of your completed pieces) – 1,  2 or 3 hours per session – Variable Prices

Choose which option you prefer then contact Jane to discuss preferred dates/times. Payments are made in advance of session by Bank Transfer or PayPal.

Based in Leicester, Jane French is an accomplished figurative artist and portrait painter. She is a proud member of the Contemporary British Portrait Painters collective (CBPP) – a group of some of the best portrait artists working in Britain today. Having originally studied Fine Art at Newcastle University, and later an MA in Design at De Montfort University (Leicester), Jane worked as an illustrator and graphic designer before focusing professionally on her own practice. She is also an art and design tutor, working at art centres and FE/HE institutions across the UK.
