A little gem. Seemingly unobtrusive, yet accomplished in its handling and in its control of tone.

A great sense of shape, pattern and surface.
GUY DIXON PRIZE
Helen Gyngell
Female Figure, ceramic with glazed oxides & st
An engaging interchange between the forms used, and the resulting figure. The staples, in adding to the surface, not only provide a decorative quality but add to the articulation of the form.
HENTON ELLIS PRIZE
Mary Toon
Pans and Blue Pot, acrylic
A well considered and inventive take on a familiar scene. The colour and point of view are particularly interesting.
