1-day oil painting workshop from 10.00am to 4.00pm

£60 including all materials/£55 if you want to bring your own paints, brushes and palette.
Develop an understanding of how to paint in oils and to appreciate the use and importance of composition, colour and form when painting a still life. This Workshop is intended to help the beginner start working with confidence using this traditional medium. Each workshop is limited to a small number of students so that each person receives the individual attention they need to develop their skills.
Jane French was born in West Sussex and is now based in Leicester where she lives with her husband, Andrew, and their two children, Albert and Lois. She graduated from Newcastle University in 1988 with a Fine Art degree. She also completed an MA in Information Design in 1996 at De Montfort University, Leicester. She has worked both as an illustrator and as a graphic designer and is now a full-time artist.
