"I’ve always been interested in art since a small boy, where I liked nothing better than to sit drawing and painting," says Frank.  "At junior School, I was introduced to printing with lino, and often using a potato, where we would cut patterns into it and use it as a paint stamp.

It was not until I retired that I picked up paint brushes again, as a hobby for my later years. In 2017, I ventured into Lino printing after a break of over 60 years. This display of prints is a selection of the work that I’ve done since then, and because of the long break I’ve called it “The Late Edition”.

Frank Bingley is a self-taught artist and printmaker living in the town of Market Harborough.  He mostly paints and prints for a hobby, though he always open to commissions. Frank Bingley is a long-standing member of the Market Harborough Art Club and an elected member of Leicester Society of Artists.
