In collaboration with SOCK Gallery, Leicester Society of Artists (LSA) proudly presents its 139th Annual Exhibition, showcasing the remarkable talent of artists from Leicestershire and Rutland in a celebration of creativity.
LSA is a lively and diverse group of professional visual artists. Our 160+ members work across various media and styles, including oil paintings, watercolours, drawings, etchings, lithographs, screen prints, sculpture, glass, ceramics, textiles, and more. The exhibition will feature more than 100 original artworks from both established and recently elected members, including portraits and landscapes, abstract and figurative pieces, with a good mix of large and small works.
This year’s exhibition will showcase works inspired by the theme ‘A Sense of Place’, highlighting unique interpretations of our local area.
The Exhibition Launch Party will take place at 3:30 pm on Saturday, 6th September. Come along and meet the artists
