Having retired from film production and mainstream education, Stuart Hicking now dedicates himself full-time to his artistic practice. Working from his studio in Leicester, he transforms everyday objects into vibrant, gallery-quality prints that combine personal memories with bold, distinctive design.
His work draws inspiration from cooking, textiles, art, photography, humour and the rituals of making, celebrating the beauty and character of familiar objects.
Stuart produces all his digital prints in-house using a professional, high-quality giclée printer and archival pigment inks, ensuring exceptional colour accuracy, richness and longevity.
