The 121st Annual Exhibition is an opportunity to see the work of many artists in this area, who exhibit widely during the year and have collaborated to provide this stimulating exhibition of paintings in a variety of media, sculpture and construction, prints and drawings.
The prize-winning works show below were selected by Dr Gerard Moran, Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design, De Montfort University, Leicester.

Confident, subtle exploitation of the media. It is accessible, beautiful, still and profound.
George Pickard Prize
Mikki Longley, Stamford St George
Mixed Media
Witty in its execution, this picture has a joyful and harlequin-like treament of some of its elements. It is almost a story in an image.
Society Prize
Adrian Lewis, '05.02.06', pastel
A confined palette, yet rich in folds and openings of form. The hints at allusions to the human form provoke deep reflections
Henton Prize
Neil Sivell, 'Room with a View', ink and Watercolour
A novel take on a familiar theme. It has an assured use of ink line and watercolour
Ellis Prize
Yvonne Anderson, Abstract 1
Soapstone
Monumental, but on a human scale. This sculpture celebrates the possibilities of the material through contrasting approaches to its treatment
